Jürgen Bertling

Jürgen Bertling is affiliated with Folkwang University of the Arts as a Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design under Faculty 4 (Technology). He maintains dual roles as a scientific researcher and industry innovator. His primary affiliation is with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology (UMSICHT) in Oberhausen, where he has held leadership positions including Head of Particle Technology Department (since 2000) and Head of Special Materials Division (since 2005). In 2006, he co-founded SolidComposites GmbH.

Education: Studied Physics in Cologne and Chemical Engineering in Dortmund, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) in Chemical Engineering in 1996.
