Júlia Pareto Boada is a Research Fellow at the Florence School of Transnational Governance (European University Institute) and a Research Fellow on Ethics of Technology at Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (CSIC-UPC). She previously served as Associate Professor on Ethics in Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Her research focuses on political philosophy, AI ethics, and democratic governance of technology. Recent work analyzes ethical frameworks for social assistive robotics and techno-governance models.
