Jörn Kurth

Jörn Kurth is a Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research (IOW) in the Department of Physical Oceanography and Instrumentation. He serves as the Head of the Calibration and Pressure Testing Laboratory, oversees underwater photo databases as a research diver, and manages the Multibeam Echosounder (EMB R2Sonic) for marine geoscience projects like the 2024 Arkona Sea wreck mapping.
