Jérôme Gauvin-Lepage is Professor and Vice-Dean for Studies, Student Life, and International Development at the University of Sherbrooke's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Previously, he served as Director of the School of Nursing and Vice-Dean of Nursing (2022-2025) at the same institution, and as Professor at Université de Montréal's Faculty of Nursing (2014-2022). His clinical background includes roles as Nursing Advisor in intensive functional rehabilitation.
His research focuses on pediatric rehabilitation, family resilience in trauma contexts, social participation of youth with neurotrauma, and interprofessional collaboration. He founded and leads the Laboratory on Inclusion and Social Participation in Pediatric Physical Rehabilitation at CHU Sainte-Justine's Azrieli Research Center.
Publications (2019-2026) concentrate on pediatric neurotrauma rehabilitation, nursing education innovations, ethical dimensions of end-of-life care, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation approaches. Recent work emphasizes social participation frameworks, e-learning interventions, and resilience processes in adolescent trauma recovery.
