Ján Sedliačik

Prof. Ing. Ján Sedliačik, PhD is a full-time Professor at the Department of Furniture and Wood Products, Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology, Technical University in Zvolen. He serves as Vice-Dean and Head of the Department of Furniture and Wood Products (DF).

• Key Roles: Vice-Dean (since 2025), Head of Department (since 2009), Chairman of Scientific and Artistic Council (until 2025), and member of numerous academic bodies.

Research Focus: His work centers on wood composite materials, adhesive systems, formaldehyde emission reduction, and CNC technology applications in furniture joints.
