Jyotsna Batra

Professor Jyotsna Batra is a leading academic in molecular genetics and prostate cancer research at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health. She holds a PhD in Human Genetics and has over 10 years of research experience analyzing genetic variations in complex disorders. Her current work focuses on prostate cancer genomics, biomarker discovery, and functional genomics, with leadership roles in the PRACTICAL consortium. She leads a team of 8 PhD students and has attracted over $4M in funding, including NHMRC grants.
