Justyna Werner

Dr. Justyna Werner is a Researcher at the Institute of Technical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Poznań University of Technology. She holds a habilitation in chemical sciences (2023) and a PhD in Chemistry (2009) from Adam Mickiewicz University.

• Scientific interests focus on designing extractants/sorbents and optimizing solid/liquid-phase microextraction techniques (SPE, SPME, DLLME).
• Her recent publications (2022–2025) emphasize green chemistry, using natural deep eutectic solvents and biowaste (e.g., cork) for environmental sample preparation, including analysis of endocrine disruptors, parabens, and herbicides in water and food matrices.
• She supervises student internships and participates in outreach activities like Scientists' Night and Open Doors at PUT.
