معرفی
Dr. Justin Wong is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney's School of Medical Sciences (Faculty of Medicine and Health) and a member of the Charles Perkins Centre. He previously led the Epigenetics and RNA Biology Program at the Centenary Institute (2018–2023). His research focuses on RNA biology, epigenetic regulation, and cellular differentiation mechanisms in cancer and inflammatory diseases. Key interests include alternative splicing, RNA modifications (e.g., m6A), and their roles in white blood cell development, leukemia, and macrophage biology.
He has received notable awards, including the Ruth Stephens Gani Medal (2019) and Sydney Research Accelerator Prize (2018). His teaching includes PHSI3X12 lectures and supervision of honors and postgraduate students. Research grants include projects targeting RNA in vascular diseases and acute myeloid leukemia mechanisms, funded by NHMRC, Cancer Council NSW, and others.
