Justin Sheriff

Justin Sheriff is an Assistant Professor in the Music Production and Engineering (MP&E) department at Berklee College of Music. A Berklee alumnus and RIAA-certified platinum audio engineer, he brings over a decade of high-impact industry experience to his academic role. His career began as an intern at Cybersound Studios in Boston in 2012, where he now serves as head engineer.

His research and professional interests span audio engineering, music production, sound design, electronic music, and music technology. His work bridges the creative and technical aspects of modern music, with a focus on the evolving landscape of digital distribution and viral content. He emphasizes technological mastery and independent artistic development in his teaching philosophy.
