Justin Samuel

Justin Samuel, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and holds dual faculty appointments as Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy (College of Education) and the Division of Pharmacy Practice (College of Pharmacy). A nationally-recognized student affairs administrator with 18+ years of experience, he focuses on student success and professional development.

His educational qualifications include:

• B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin
• M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University
• Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin

Dr. Samuel's research centers on college student identity development, personal branding for student leaders, and work/life integration for student affairs administrators. His teaching interests span leadership development, professional development, marketing in pharmacy, and research design theories in higher education.
