Justin Russotti, PhD, LCSW, is a Research Faculty member at the University of Rochester’s Mt. Hope Family Center and TRANSFORM Research Center. His work focuses on developmental psychopathology, particularly the long-term effects of childhood adversity and maltreatment on mental and physical health. He holds a K01 NIH award for harmonizing longitudinal child maltreatment data to understand heterogeneity in abuse outcomes. Dr. Russotti’s research bridges clinical practice and policy, emphasizing interventions to buffer at-risk families. He teaches graduate courses in clinical practice, developmental psychopathology, and neurobiological foundations of mental health at the University of Rochester.
