Justice Mbizo

Justice Mbizo is a Professor in the Department of Public Health at the Usha Kundu, MD College of Health, University of West Florida, where he has been a faculty member since 2006. He teaches epidemiological research methods and applied public health analysis, contributing significantly to public health education and research.

Dr. Mbizo's research focuses on the application of epidemiological and statistical methods to understand the multi-level causes of health disparities in chronic diseases. He integrates emerging information technologies to address chronic disease and health disparities, particularly among underserved and marginalized populations. His work examines how personal, community, and systemic factors influence health and health-seeking behaviors. Internationally, he has contributed to research on HIV and gender-based violence and their public health impacts.
