June Keith

June Keith, JD, is a newly appointed member of the Mercy College of Health Sciences Board of Directors, unanimously confirmed during its December meeting. She currently serves as a staff attorney at Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice, advocating for low-income and marginalized communities through immigration law expertise. Previously, she held roles as assistant general counsel at Alameda County Office of Education Schools Legal Counsel, associate attorney at Whitmore, Kay and Stevens in Palo Alto, and Assistant Professor of Legal Writing and Research at Santa Clara University Law School.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts in Classical Liberal Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California; Juris Doctor (JD) from Hastings College of Law, University of California
• Professional Affiliations: California State Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc.
• Community Engagement: Volunteer with Catholic Charities in Des Moines, supporting emergency family shelters and refugee resettlement programs
