Jun Yang Tan

Jun Yang Tan is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Portland's School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Drexel University, a Master's in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy from Singapore Management University. His research focuses on ESG reporting practices by public companies and regulatory scrutiny from the SEC, with presentations at AAA Annual Meetings and Auditing Section Midyear Meetings. He emphasizes collaborative research with undergraduate students, aiming to co-author peer-reviewed articles and present findings at the University’s Fall Poster Session.
