Julius Weckler

Julius Weckler is a Researcher at the Chair of Physics Education within the School of Social Sciences and Technology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He previously served as a Research Associate at the Institute for Physics Education at Justus Liebig University Giessen (2020-2022) and as a Student Assistant at Giessen’s Institute of Computer Science (2018-2021).

• Educational Background: Completed a degree in Physics and Computer Science for secondary school teaching (L3) at Justus Liebig University Giessen (2017-2022), earning the First State Examination for Secondary School Teaching.

Research Interests focus on Physics Education and Computer Science Education, with emphasis on:

• Self-regulated learning in task-based environments
• Conceptual and contextual task features in mechanics
• Planning learning processes in digital education (digLL project)

Publications highlight his work on task design in physics education and student conception diagnosis in mechanics.
