Dr. Julio Nunes is a Psychiatry Resident in the research track at Yale University School of Medicine, affiliated with the Pain and Addiction Interaction Neurosciences (PAIN) Lab. His research focuses on pharmacological treatments for chronic pain and substance use disorders, with an emphasis on healthcare disparities. He holds an MD from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University's Center for Clinical Research.
