Juliette Wilson-Thomas

Dr Juliette Wilson-Thomas is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University within the Faculty of Health and Education, specializing in sociology and education. She holds a PhD from the University of Salford (2016) and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her work focuses on social exclusion, gender, education policy, and project-based pedagogy. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, leading the foundation year for Education and Early Years studies, and supervises PhD students.

Research interests include cultural capital in early years education, time banking as an alternative economy, and feminist critiques of social policy.
