Juliet M. Moringiello

Juliet M. Moringiello was an Emerita Professor of Law and former Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Widener University Commonwealth Law School. She specialized in bankruptcy law, property law, and digital assets. Her research focused on online contracting, creditors’ rights in digital assets, and the interplay between state/federal bankruptcy laws. She played pivotal roles in enacting Pennsylvania’s Revised UCC articles and the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act. Recognized with awards like the W. Edward Sell Business Lawyer Award (2021), she served on high-profile committees, including the ALI/ULC Drafting Committee on UCC and Emerging Technologies.
