Julien Lépine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Operations and Decision Systems at Université Laval's Faculty of Business Administration. His research integrates mechanical engineering and sustainability, focusing on:
- Road transport dynamics and vehicle efficiency
- Advanced packaging solutions for logistics and food security
- Hydrogen energy systems and decarbonization technologies
- Experimental methods for friction and material testing
He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Victoria University, complemented by Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Sherbrooke. Recent publications demonstrate strong emphasis on sustainable transport, including hydrogen fuel production, pavement-vehicle interactions, and policy analysis for electric vehicle adoption. He actively supervises graduate students and contributes to governmental research projects, such as those for Quebec's Ministry of Transport.
