Julien Blanc serves as a Lecturer-Researcher at France's National Museum of Natural History (MNHN), affiliated with the UMR7206 Eco-anthropology and Ethnobiology research unit. His work uniquely bridges anthropological frameworks with financial systems analysis, operating at the intersection of socio-ecological studies and global economics.
His research prioritizes Financial globalization, Monetary policies, Financial crises, and Banking regulation, examining how macroeconomic forces impact community resilience and ecological relationships. This interdisciplinary approach challenges conventional boundaries between economic anthropology and financial studies.
As part of UMR7206—a joint research unit involving MNHN, CNRS, and IRD—Blanc contributes to projects exploring human-environment dynamics under financial volatility. Contact: jblanc@mnhn.fr.
