Julie Weinert is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Resources at Southern Illinois University. She can be contacted via email at jweinert@siu.edu or by phone at 618-453-6098. Her office is located in 4529 Faner Hall.
- Education: Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 2008
Her research focuses on tourism geography, ecotourism, feminist geography, globalization, and development studies. She teaches courses such as Environmental Conservation (GEOG 100), World Geography (GEOG 103), and Geography of Globalization (GEOG 304).
