Dr. Julie Tournet is a Research Fellow at the School of Engineering, Australian National University (ANU). Her work focuses on renewable energy and fuels, particularly advanced electrochemical technologies for hydrogen production and solar energy systems. She leads the ACT-H2 program, which develops photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical cells for sustainable energy solutions. Her expertise includes epitaxy, microfabrication, and III-V semiconductor materials. Tournet holds a PhD in Nanotechnology and has extensive experience in optoelectronic device research.

- MASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Nanotechnology), University of Waterloo (2013-2015)
