Dr. Julie Thorpe is a Professor in the Faculty of Business and Information Technology at Ontario Tech University. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carleton University (2008) and a Bachelor of Computer Science (First-Class Honours) from Dalhousie University. Her research focuses on IT security, particularly human factors in authentication systems, biometrics, and password security.
