Julie Price is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Illinois, specializing in Creative Writing, Poetry, and Creative Non-Fiction. She has been teaching since 1998 and created the innovative 'Trauma Writing' course in 2016. Her career spans diverse roles before academia, including work in advertising, arts journalism, and bookstore ownership.
