Julie Martini is an Associate Professor in the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Curry College, teaching on a part-time basis since 2014. She is also affiliated with Endicott College and the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, as a part-time instructor.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from Carleton College
- MFA in 2D Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art & Design
Martini is a Boston-based visual artist working in drawing, painting, and installation. Her practice bridges science, nature, and spirituality, with a focus on collaborative community projects like "Building with Light" (exhibited at The Museum of Fine Arts, 2017). She represents interdisciplinary art through gallery exhibitions and public engagements, emphasizing accessibility in underserved communities.

- Residencies: I-Park, Petrified National Forest, Women’s Studio Workshop, Vermont Studio Center
Martini’s work spans galleries (Gallery 263, Mills Gallery) and socially engaged initiatives at institutions like Pine Street Inn for the Homeless. She has also collaborated with over 200 children for "Building with Light," merging STEM and art education.
