Julie Jacques is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lille, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Department of Computer Science. She is a member of the CRISTAL laboratory's ORKAD team since 2022. Her career includes a research professor role at the Catholic Institute of Lille (2017–2022), where she established a digital sciences degree, and a research engineer position at Alicante (2008–2017).
Her research focuses on the intersection of combinatorial optimization and white-box machine learning, with applications in medical informatics, explainable AI, neural architecture search, and asymmetric data analysis.
