Professor Clarisse Dhaenens Flipó is a University Professor at the University of Lille, attached to the Polytech Lille component. She serves as the Director of the CRIStAL Joint Research Unit (UMR 9189) and conducts her research within the ORKAD team of the OPTIMA group at the CRIStAL laboratory.

Professor Dhaenens Flipó's work focuses on leveraging the synergy between combinatorial optimization and knowledge extraction to solve complex optimization problems. Her approaches are primarily based on single- and multi-objective combinatorial optimization, resulting in the release of open-source software.
She conducts her teaching mainly in the GIS - Computer Engineering and Statistics program at Polytech Lille, both in regular student training and in apprenticeship training.
