Dr Julie E McAdam is a Senior Lecturer in Language and Literacies at the University of Glasgow’s School of Education. Her work focuses on children’s literature as a tool for fostering inclusive education, intercultural understanding, and social change. She has led initiatives such as the Children’s Literature in Critical Contexts of Displacement project, exploring how stories and arts-based practices create safe spaces for displaced children.
