Julie Claustre is a Professor of Medieval History at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne since September 1, 2023. Her research focuses on economic and social history of the Middle Ages across France and Europe, with specialized interests in justice systems, labor structures, credit mechanisms, and gender dynamics. She coordinates the e-NDP research program on Notre-Dame de Paris and serves on committees for the Fondazione Datini and Crime, History and Society journal.
