Prof. Julie Carrier is a Full Professor at the University of Montreal’s Department of Psychology, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She holds dual roles as Vice-rectrice adjointe aux études supérieures et postdoctorale and leads research at the Centre d’études avancées en médecine du sommeil (CÉAMS) and the Centre de recherche de l'Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM). Her research focuses on sleep mechanisms across aging, circadian rhythms, and neurodegeneration. Carrier has trained over 27 graduate students and 50+ research interns, with publications in top journals like Scientific Reports and Sleep.
