Julie Binney

Julie Binney is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport program. She holds an MSc in Advancing Professional Practice with distinction and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Her teaching and research focus spans outdoor/adventure education, curriculum development, and decolonizing higher education practices. She received multiple teaching awards recognizing her innovative approaches to student engagement and professional development.
