Julie Billaud

Dr. Julie Billaud is a Researcher affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle, Germany. She previously contributed to the University of Sussex as an associated academic within the Sussex Asia Centre. Her interdisciplinary work spans Social Anthropology and Law, focusing on critical themes such as Islamic legal practices in neoliberal Britain and human rights mechanisms.
