Julie Alemany

Julie Alemany is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Nova Southeastern University's Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. With 23 years of experience in higher education and 18 years as a full-time professor at NSU, she has also worked with public school students in the U.S. for two decades. Her expertise spans physical education, special education, TESOL, elementary education, and educational leadership.

Her research focuses on TESOL, collaborative online communities, and reading. She has taught undergraduate and graduate students both in-person in the U.S. and online, with international teaching experience in The Bahamas, Belize, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Chile, Jamaica, and South Korea.
