Julianne Chung is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. Her research explores epistemology, philosophy of language, aesthetics, and cross-cultural approaches to philosophical problems including skepticism, fictionalism, creativity, and metaphor.
She examines how artworks convey epistemic content and value, serving as associate editor for Oxford Studies in Epistemology and editorial board member for the Journal of Analytic Theology. Previously, she taught at the University of Louisville and developed philosophy programs for pre-college students.
