Julianna Priskin

Julianna Priskin is a Lecturer at the Institute of Tourism and Mobility (ITM) within the Lucerne School of Business at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). With over 20 years of expertise in sustainable tourism management, she focuses on environmental impacts of tourism, sustainability communication, and climate reporting. Her research spans coastal regions, protected areas, and digital transformation in sustainability.

Key projects include the 'Sustainable River Cruises' initiative, 'Climate Action4 Companies,' and the 'Swisstainable Kommunikation Toolbox.' She has contributed to over 30 publications, including co-editing the 2018 book Contemporary Challenges of Climate Change, Sustainable Tourism Consumption, and Destination Competitiveness. Notable awards include the UNWTO Innovations in Enterprise Award (2016) and the 2014 Publication Award from HSLU.

Her professional competencies include Sustainable Development in Tourism, CSR Management, and Sustainability Marketing. She also serves as a part-time sustainability consultant and contributed to the Tourism Lecturing Education Program for the North Caucasus Federal University in Russia.
