Juliane Walz

Juliane Walz serves as a W3 Professor of Peptide-based Immunotherapy and Medical Director at the University of Tübingen's Faculty of Medicine. She is centrally affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence iFIT (EXC 2180) and leads the clinic for Peptide-based Immunotherapy within the KKE Translational Immunology group.

Her research focuses on developing peptide-based immunotherapeutic strategies with strong translational emphasis, bridging laboratory discoveries to clinical applications. This work spans cancer immunotherapy, infectious disease immunology, and advanced vaccinology, leveraging interdisciplinary collaboration to address complex immune-mediated disorders through novel peptide vaccine design and therapeutic implementation.

Professor Walz's clinic operates within the University of Tübingen's translational research ecosystem, actively contributing to the Cluster of Excellence iFIT's mission of advancing infection and immunity research through cross-disciplinary integration of basic science and clinical practice.
