Juliane Noack Napoles

Prof. Dr. phil. Juliane Noack Napoles is a Full Professor of Educational Sciences at the Institute of Social Work within the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (since March 2020). Previously, she held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Cologne (2015-2020) and Alanus University (2011-2013), and served as an Adjunct Lecturer in Pedagogy at the University of Cologne (2008-2015).

• Education: PhD in Educational Sciences (summa cum laude, University of Siegen, 2005), Master's in Pedagogy (University of Siegen, 2004), Master of Science in Business Studies and Economics (Växjö University, 2002), and Bachelor of Social Pedagogy (University of Siegen, 2000).

Her research focuses on eudaimogenetic approaches to education and social work, identity development, vulnerability in educational contexts, and aesthetic education within educational anthropology. She has contributed to projects and publications on qualitative empirical social research and labor welfare economics.

She currently serves as Head of the Audit Committee and Deputy Chair of the Senate Commission for Research, Young Scientists, and Technology Transfer at Brandenburg University of Technology. Her work spans educational theory, lifespan pedagogy, and interdisciplinary social sciences.
