Julian Goldberger is a Lecturer in Film and Media Arts at Chapman University's Lawrence and Kristina Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. His filmography includes directing the feature films trans (1998) and The Hawk is Dying (2006), both of which premiered at major international film festivals such as Toronto, Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, and Brasilia. In 2008, he directed a cinematic portrait of Japanese artist Hirokazu Kosaka for the World Festival of Sacred Music and UCLA, which premiered on PBS in 2009.
