Julia Young

Dr. Julia Young is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Anatomy & Developmental Biology at Monash University. Her research focuses on developmental biology, stem cell differentiation, and molecular mechanisms underlying cell survival. She has contributed to studies on nuclear transport proteins in embryonic stem cells and hormonal regulation in fetal testis development. Dr. Young also collaborates on educational initiatives, such as integrating AI tools into research training and reforming laboratory assessment methods to enhance student engagement. Her work bridges basic biological research with innovative pedagogical strategies in medical education.
