Julia Wolfson

Julia Wolfson, PhD, MPP is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of International Health, with joint affiliations at the Institute for Health and Social Policy. Her work bridges health policy and behavioral science to address diet quality, food security, and sustainable food systems.

Dr. Wolfson's research focuses on food policy, food systems, and community-based interventions, particularly examining how home cooking skills, SNAP policies, and climate-conscious food choices impact public health. Her work employs mixed-methods and community-based participatory research (CBPR) to develop interventions that promote equitable, sustainable food systems.
