Julia P. Kuan is a prominent trial and appellate attorney with over 30 years of experience specializing in criminal defense, civil rights litigation, and damages cases. She currently serves as a Partner at ECBAWM and previously founded Romano & Kuan, PLLC. She is a former adjunct clinical professor at CUNY School of Law and has held roles at the Legal Aid Society, Office of the Appellate Defender, and Bronx Defenders. Kuan’s work focuses on high-stakes cases involving wrongful convictions, police/prison abuse, and civil rights violations.
