Dr. Julia Navarro Oliver is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where she has been teaching since 2017. She serves as coordinator of Applied Mathematics and is an active member of the TAMI (Tractament i Anàlisi Matemàtica d'Imatges) research group. Her academic background includes a Mathematics degree from UIB (2014), a Master's in Computer Vision from Autonomous University of Barcelona (2015), and a PhD from UIB (2019).
Her research focuses on computer vision and digital image processing, with applications in scientific imaging. She has participated in national research projects and an international collaboration with the French Space Agency (CNES), completing research stays at Technicolor R&I (France, 2018) and InterDigital R&D France (2020-2021).
