Julia Mascadri

Dr. Julia Mascadri is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education within the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education & Social Justice at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She holds a PhD from QUT and specializes in early childhood education research with a particular focus on pedagogical practices, intercultural competence, and inclusive education approaches.

Dr. Mascadri's educational background includes a PhD from Queensland University of Technology, which formed the foundation for her research on early childhood educators' intercultural competence through the lens of self-authorship. Her doctoral work was recognized with the Faculty of Education Outstanding Thesis Award in 2017.

Her research interests center on pedagogical practice in early childhood education, intercultural education, epistemic beliefs, and inclusive education.
