Julia Lackmann

Prof. Dr. Julia Lackmann serves as Professor of Business Administration with specialization in Accounting and Sustainability Reporting at the Department of Economics, Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. She holds the position of Doctoral Officer and serves as contact person for international student exchanges with Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia and University of Da Nang.

Her research expertise encompasses external accounting frameworks including German Commercial Code (HGB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), balance sheet analysis, and comprehensive sustainability reporting systems. Professor Lackmann's work addresses evolving regulatory landscapes, particularly focusing on the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), EU Taxonomy, and ESG reporting standards that bridge financial and non-financial corporate disclosure.

As an educator, she teaches across multiple semesters in both undergraduate and graduate programs, covering foundational accounting principles through advanced topics in international financial reporting.
