Julia König serves as a Lecturer for Sustainability and Sustainability Consultant at ecosign, an institute within the Department of Design of Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. She coordinates interdisciplinary network projects with partners from science, business, society, and politics while developing continuing education programs and sustainability consulting frameworks since 2023.
Her academic foundation stems from her ecosign graduate work, where she produced award-nominated theses exploring sustainability-design intersections. Her professional trajectory includes organizing the annual NRW School on Green Business and Sustainability since 2020 and the 'Weiter-wirken' continuing education program since 2021.
Research interests center on sustainable business transformation through co-creation methodologies, visual communication, and systemic design approaches. Her work emphasizes practical implementation of ecological and social responsibility in corporate contexts, demonstrated through consultancy projects and workshop facilitation.
