Dr. Julia Jordan is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Lang & Literature at University College London (UCL), specializing in twentieth and twenty-first century literature and criticism. With a BA in Classics, an MA in modern English literature, and a PhD from UCL (2008), she has taught at Cambridge, Sussex, and Cardiff Universities before joining UCL in 2013. Her research explores late modernism, the avant-garde, experimental writing, and post-secular pastoral themes, particularly in poetry. She has authored monographs on B. S. Johnson and co-edited his anthology Well Done God!, while publishing widely on authors like Beckett, Pynchon, and Empson.
