Julia Emtseva

Julia Emtseva is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (2019-2024), focusing on public international law, human rights, transitional justice, and humanitarian law. She has held visiting roles at institutions including Université Catholique de Lille, Riga Graduate School of Law, Sciences Po Law School, and New York University School of Law. Her affiliations also include the European Society of International Law's Interest Group on International Criminal Justice.
