Jukka Törrönen is a Professor at Stockholm University's Department of Public Health Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Helsinki (2000), focusing on alcohol policy and governance in Finland and Estonia. His research explores substance use practices, gender dynamics, and public health policies, with a focus on youth drinking trends, addiction narratives, and societal shifts in health consciousness.
