Juhyung Sun

Dr. Juhyung Sun serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Communication Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research centers on media psychology and interpersonal communication, with particular focus on problematic smartphone use, phubbing behavior (phone snubbing), and social media effects on relationships.

Her primary research examines how digital communication technologies impact social interactions and psychological well-being. She investigates phubbing behavior across different relationship contexts, cultural influences on digital communication, and psychological mechanisms underlying technology-mediated interactions.
