معرفی
Judy Hall is a Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Oklahoma State University since 1970, teaching undergraduate and graduate laboratory courses. Her research focuses on chromatin remodeling complexes, notably the SWI/SNF complex, and their role in tumor suppression and plant-pathogen interactions in cotton.
- Education: BS in Microbiology (1966), MS in Biochemistry (1970) from Oklahoma State University.
Her research on the INI1 protein aims to determine its DNA-binding domains and crystalline structure, while her work with BRG1 explores transcriptional activation. Additionally, she investigates bacterial blight resistance in cotton, emphasizing phytoalexin production and genetic mapping.
Recent publications highlight her contributions to plant-pathogen interactions, phytoalexin toxicity, and biochemical education. She has co-authored studies on firefly luciferase purification and diauxic growth experiments.
Her teaching courses emphasize hands-on learning in mass spectrometry, DNA analysis, metabolic assays, and protein purification, preparing students for careers in medicine, research, or chemical analysis.
